Ako'y
isang Tunay na OFW (Ipakita mong mas magaling ka sa kanila san ka man
mapunta at ano man ang iyong trabaho - taas noo tayo)
ANONG BUHAY MERON KA SA PILIPINAS NOON?
I left the Philippines when I was 21-yrs old & 8-months,
started as a NO-BODY in the travel trade in Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia as I was a
liaison officer when I was there. But everything was just ok.
To gain experience and of course to earn for my family - PROUD of
that ...
PAANO KA NAPUNTA SA BANSANG PINAGTA-TRABAHUHAN MO NGAYON?
Hmmm - currently on my 3rd company in the middle east and I may
say that this wasn't my choosing as my preference is to go back in Qatar. To
start all over again & have a new life ...
ANO ANG BUHAY MO SA KASALUKUYAN?
As always - SURVIVING as a person of true faith. It's hard but I do
have to overcome everything for the sake of my kids & my family. I came to
work in the middle-east & so I make sure I work hard & people will
tell you on how I really work.
MAY PAGSISISI KA BA SA PAGIGING OFW?
NONE .... But of course
I had never spent a single Christmas back in the Philippines with my family
& friends when I became an OFW.
And of course -
just my kids (I really miss them) ...
PAANO KA NAKAKA COPE-UP SA KALUNGKUTAN?
Easy - Work ...
Work ... Work and self decipline. I pray in as much as I can and now a days -
FB and some computer games, watching movies & listening to music and
sometimes go out with friends to drink some coffee & chit-chat...
HANGGANG KELAN KA MAGIGING OFW?
Well, in as much
as I would like to say a time-frame, I cannot as I dont know what is there for
me or when will be that perfect time to start something much better back in the
Philippines ...
ANO ANG PLANO MO PAGBALIK MO SA PILIPINAS?
Of course - to have
a nice vacation & enjoy a lot ... (Question is to vague) sna ang tanong is
"Sa final exit ano ang plano mo?
ANO ANG PINAKA DI MALILIMUTANG KARANASAN MO NG PAGIGING OFW?
Hmmm - I've
learned to PRAY and had found myself crying like a baby as I offered myself to
God & so as all my problems - Proud to say He had taken all my worries and
made me who I am today...
ANO ANG MAIPAPAYO MO SA KAPWA OFW MO?
Naku ang dami -
1st - make sure to
know what is your main purpose in being an OFW then the rest will come in order
...
2nd - Find a
community to avoid homesickness & stress ...
3rd - Never ever
envy anyone as this would really make you something you never hoped to be.
4th - Be content
with what you have and spend it wisely, make sure to keep something for
yourself...
5th - Smile a lot
even if you seems to have big problems back home & or in your work.
6th - Always think
that in all problems there is always a solution. Thus you need to keep
your faith high & your head down.
7th - Just bcoz
you earn big or you have a good position in your work you have forgotten where
you came from. I have seen a lot (so sad to say) but they seems to have gained
PRIDE in a very negative way .... Help your fellow OFW by so many means &
if you can - try to be Honest & Humble yet take pride in what you do.
8th - Just
remember that we are all just passers by - thus make sure to make an imprint of
good-high morale character & attitude to your work place and to the
community.
9th - Last but not
the least, never ever take for granted those people who had helped you even in
a small way - always be thankful & show them or let them know that you are
thankful for atleast knowing them even for that short period of time.
"Real regrets only come from not doing your best. All else is out
of your control. You're measured by results only. Trade excuses and
"trying" for results, and expect half-hearted results from
half-hearted efforts. Do more than is expected of you. Life's easy when you
live it the hard way... and hard if you try to live it the easy way." –
